  Fishing report update for Monday May 13 On Lake Ontario the last few days we have seen the action picking up again. Good mixed bag catches reported from the Niagara Bar to Jordan. With the water warming quickly, we are seeing numbers of fish being caught a little further offshore now 100-150 FOW seems to be a good starting point with some boats doing well all the way out to depths of 300 FOW. There were even some boats reporting good catches off the North shore as well. Spoons are working well higher in the water column & flashers...

It seems like the nicer water and big mother load of Salmon is over along the NY of the Niagara Bar. Rest assured the good fishing will come back very soon.   FISHING REPORT UPDATE - APRIL 29 Its here folks, some of the best fishing on Lake Ontario is happening now!! Throughout most of the south shore from Grimsby to the Niagara River there is nice warm (47-48 degree) 'green" water and its loaded with Chinook, Coho, Lakers & Brown Trout. Ok lets talk about what's been happening lately. Inconsistent weather of late, a couple nice days, followed by a couple un-fishable days & so on it seems. Fishing along the south shore of Lake Ontario from Grimsby to the Niagara River has been good & will only be getting better in the coming days & weeks.
